Leaving the Shire on the beginning of his quest, Frodo compelled his party to seek shelter off the road, in the hollow of a gnarled, old tree. Moments later, his apprehension was confirmed as the terrifying specter of the Ringwraith loomed into view. Drawn by the power of the Ring, the Wraith seemed certain to discover the Hobbits as they huddled terrified under the roots of the tree.

This wall plaque is sculpted by Virginia Lee, daughter of renowned Tolkien artist Alan Lee. The piece comes with a description of the scene on the back as well as the signatures of Virginia Lee and two time Oscar winner Richard Taylor. The plaque has two keyhole wall mounts and rubber bumpers on the back for easy display.
