Greatest of the Nazgûl, Sauron’s terrible Ringwraith servants, the Witch-king was once lord of the realm of Angmar. Now he haunts the ruins of Dol Guldur, leading his fellow Wraiths against the united Elves and Istari.

Display the Witch-king in your Dol Guldur diorama, surrounded by the servants of Sauron.

Brand new from Weta Workshop comes Dol Guldur: A 1:30 Scale Collection. For the first time ever, collect your very own Middle-earth scene piece by piece and populate it with miniature figures of your choosing.

A place of dread, Dol Guldur is a ruined fortress deep in Mirkwood. Long was it thought to have been abandoned, but quietly have dark things crept into its passages, and beneath spells of concealment the Dark Lord Sauron has gathered his servants to him.

Rumour of a Necromancer drew Gandalf to the hill of Sorcery, where his suspicions were confirmed. Now the White Council must put for its strength to rescue the Grey Wizard and put the forces of darkness to flight. The stage is set for a battle of immortal powers.

After a lot of debate we decided that the first scene we’d do at 1:30 scale would be the Dol Guldur scene from The Hobbit. This is a great scene because you have so many of Middle-earth’s big heavy-hitters in it: you’ve got elves, you’ve got the Istari, you’ve got Sauron and you’ve got Ringwraiths.

Weta Workshop has developed its 1:30 scale range with accessibility for the collector in mind. Rather than one large bespoke piece, each scene fits together as a series of modular elements that can be built up over time. Collectors can then place miniature characters within the scene in limitless configurations.

Add to your set with more characters and environment pieces from Dol Guldur:

Galadriel at Gandalf's Side

Ringwraith of Forod

Lord Elrond of Rivendell

Palantír Courtyard

Figures are made of metal, on polyresin bases.

Behind-the-Scenes on Dol Guldur

Created by the same artists and technicians who have worked on The Hobbit motion picture trilogy, Weta Workshop’s 1:30 Scale Collection is only just beginning. Keep an eye out for new figures and environments coming soon.
